Janine Moses

B.S. Aerospace Science and Engineering, UC Davis, 2019
B.S. Mechanical Engineering, UC Davis, 2019

Janine is currently interning at NASA Johnson Space Center, designing a spacesuit Helmet-Mounted Display, a joint project between HRVIP and JSC. The Helmet-Mounted Display will show biometric and spacewalk-related parameters to astronauts during training and it will be tested in the Neutral Buoyancy Lab in Fall 2020. She will return to UC Davis in January 2021 to begin her masters.

During her undergraduate years, Janine was a co-op at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab in the cable harness engineering group working on the Europa Clipper spacecraft. Janine also interned for two summers at The Aerospace Corporation, one summer in the Space Materials Lab and another summer with a team that supported Boeing's WGS-10 military satellite. During undergrad, Janine was a member of Eclipse Rocketry where she helped launch high powered model rockets and payloads for the NASA University Student Launch Initiative.

She is a private pilot, recently earned her SCUBA diver certificate, and loves spending time in the outdoors. Janine participates in STEM outreach with kids, and welcomes tough conversations about race and social justice.
