During her undergraduate career, Sarah held leadership positions in Pi Tau Sigma (Mechanical Engineering Honor Society) and Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honor Society). She also contributed to the broader community, and her role as a student representative to the Rutgers Alumni Association earned her the Scarlet Award. Following graduation, Sarah joined a technology consulting firm and worked as business/project management analyst for primarily global life sciences clients. Sarah gained valuable experience interfacing with client VPs and managing multiples teams in a dynamic environment.
Sarah is currently following her interest in human-robotics integration and physiology through Ph.D. research at U.C. Davis. Her research project will combine surface electromyography and robotics to extend human capabilities in an extreme environment. Sarah is a member of both HRVIP and RASCAL research groups.
