James Thompson

James Thompson started taking courses in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department at UC Davis in the Fall of 2019. He finished his undergraduate education at Dartmouth College in 2018 with a degree in Engineering Sciences and a minor in Computer Science. He works full time as a mechanical engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory specializing in shock physics, hydrodynamic simulations, and product realization. His academic focus is in computational fluid dynamics.
