Jennifer Gin is a Master’s Degree student in Mechanical Engineering with many years of working in the accounting and retail banking fields. Jennifer interned with the City of Santa Barbara, Department of Public Works, from 2018 to 2019, assisting professional engineers with plan reviews for the City’s water resources projects including installing new water service lines and final plans for sewer line improvements across the City. She was President of the Support-network for Women in Engineering at Santa Barbara City College and assisted in coordinating networking events between Santa Barbara Women in STEM and other science clubs on the campus.

She brought her family—her mother, husband and two sons—from Santa Barbara to study at UC Davis. She enjoys hiking, knitting, and board gaming when not studying.
