Sonia Gonzalez

Sonia is a fourth year undergraduate student studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. She is currently working on a haptic guided robotic sleeve that aims to use vibrating tatctors to guide manual space and surgical robotics. She also is involved in the fabrication of the crew-compartment mockup of the X-37UCD MedEvac Spacecraft. Her interests include the application of robotics in human aided performance, the development of technology for long duration space travel, and development of technology in the commercialization of space in order to make space more accessible to the general public.
